WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept e-transfers and cheques (payable to Wise Counselling or Zoë Younger), due at the start of your appointment.  E-transfers should be completed the morning of your appointment, as I do not always have a computer in my therapy room.  I also accept credit cards online.

DOES MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER YOUR SERVICES?

Basic healthcare coverage does not cover therapy, but many extended health plans do cover the services of Registered Clinical Counsellors.  Check with your extended health benefits provider or your employer if you are not sure.  I issue official receipts upon receipt of payment, and a portion of fees can be claimed as a medical expense deduction on your income tax return.

ARE YOUR FEES NEGOTIABLE?

I do accept a limited number of clients who cannot afford to pay the regular fees.  Please contact me to discuss your personal circumstances.

WHAT IF WE AREN'T A GOOD MATCH?

Finding a therapist you can open up to, and who has the right skills to help you is important. If we don't click, that's ok!  I will happily try to connect you with someone who will be a good fit for you.

CAN I BOOK ONLINE?

Yes.  I recommend you call first for a free 15-30 minute consultation to get a sense of what to expect, especially if you haven't been to counselling before.  

Once you have decided you would like to come see me, please feel free to book online.   

 

If you are booking an intake session, you can save time at your first appointment by reading and completing the informed consent form, or by emailing me a few days before your appointment.
